This recording goes back quite a few years. It captures a duet I sang with Aaron Palmer (a young boy at the time- now a college student) at his church, First United Methodist Church. This is by no means a simple song meant for children to sing; it is fraught with tricky intervals, long phrases, and a challenging text. But Aaron wanted to sing it and I’m so glad he did. What a beautiful, pure sound? What moving sincerity! This is a very special moment in my musical life.
