My church,  Holy Communion Lutheran,  is going through a major transition with the recent departure of our interim pastor,  Steve Samuelson, and the imminent arrival of our new senior pastor,  Bill Grimbol.  Ahead of his arrival,  the church council decided that our congregation should engage in some serious, concerted self-examination to determine where we go

There is nothing scarier than destructive winds.  They are much stronger than we are - completely beyond our control - and there is an intangibility to them that makes them all the more frightening.  But the damage they can do is anything but intangible, as the city of Kenosha (and Racine to a lesser extent)
