Mary Pflum Peterson is a producer for ABC’s Good Morning, America – and used to work for CNN. Unbeknownst to anyone who knew her or worked with her, Peterson grew up in a complicated household with a mother who struggled with various mental and emotional issues- most seriously “hoarding.” In this portion of the interview, she discusses some of the specifics about her mother’s difficulties and what it was like to grow up in such a home.
